My Work
Time, what is its importance? As a child I found time had little importance, the eagerness for that next birthday would always push it on. Now, as an adult, time has become something I want to appreciate, explore, and hold on to. I want to try and capture it within my work in its most simplest form, a moment held where I wished it could have lasted forever. I love the way photography and simple materials can assist with this need, in both abstract and true to life form, hence my wide selection of works ranging from photographic prints to resin structures within frames .
As an artist working and studying in a thriving town in Essex, I have had a passion for art since I can remember. I began to initially explore time and space within my work during a period in my life when it changed suddenly and drastically. I developed a momentum within my art work for capturing movement and light within a structured way, using various materials within painting, sculpture and photography.
I hope you enjoy viewing my work and please get in touch if you have any questions.
